The service
You choose items from mainland UK retailers that will not deliver to the Isle of Man. We place the order with the retailer in our name on your behalf, have it sent to our UK warehouse, bring it across to the island and deliver it to your Manx address. You are buying a delivery and ordering service from us; the item itself comes from the retailer, and the retailer's own terms apply to the item.
Your account
You need to be 18 or over and have an Isle of Man delivery address with an IM postcode. Keep your login details to yourself and tell us straight away from your order page if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for orders placed through your account until you tell us otherwise. We can close an account that is used for fraud, for items we cannot carry, or in a way that harms other people using the service.
Prices and payment
Before you pay you see three lines: the retailer's price for the item, the delivery cost from our UK warehouse to your door, and our service fee. You pay the total to us before we place anything with the retailer. Delivery is priced on the size and weight of your parcel. If the real figure once the parcel is measured turns out lower than the estimate you paid, we refund the difference. If it is higher, we tell you the exact amount and ask you before anything moves; you can say no and we cancel and refund you in full. Prices include any VAT due.
Changes and cancellations
You can change or cancel an order free of charge, from your order page, until we have placed it with the retailer. We tell you when that has happened. After that point the retailer's returns rules apply to the item. We will help you return it where the retailer allows, and we will say up front what the return delivery will cost. Our service fee covers work already done and is not refunded once the retailer order is placed, unless the fault is ours.
Delivery
We deliver to every IM postcode. The delivery days shown when you order are estimates based on the retailer's dispatch time and the sailing schedule. Weather, sailing changes and retailer delays can move them, and when that happens your tracking page shows the new expected day and we message you. If nobody is in, we follow the instructions you give us at checkout, which may include leaving the parcel in a safe place at your risk.
Damaged or missing items
Check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, tell us from your order page within 14 days of delivery and send a photo where you can. We start by telling you what has and has not happened to your order and your money. If the damage happened in our care, we replace the item or refund you in full, including delivery and our fee. If the fault lies with the retailer, we take it up with them for you and keep you posted.
Items we cannot carry
We cannot carry hazardous goods such as fuel, gas canisters, fireworks, loose lithium batteries or corrosive chemicals; perishables such as fresh or frozen food and live plants; and anything the retailer or carrier refuses to send. If a retailer will not sell an item to us, or a carrier will not take it on the crossing, we tell you and refund you in full. We may refuse an order if we reasonably believe the item is unlawful to buy or own on the Isle of Man.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for the parcel from the moment it reaches our UK warehouse until it is delivered to your address. If we lose or damage it in that time, we put it right as described above, up to the price you paid for the item plus delivery and our fee. We are not responsible for delays caused by the retailer, the weather or the ferry operator, or for losses that are not a direct result of something we did wrong. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Isle of Man consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. The date at the top tells you when they last changed, and we will email you before any change that affects orders you have already placed. The Privacy notice explains how we look after your details.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man, and the Manx courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Support with any order is through your order page when you are signed in.
